on 19th june, they phoned me like 7 times in just a few mins, then the very next day 20th june they did the same, calling me another 7 times but this time, only the last number in their phone changed each time. so annoying!

Lots of calls kept coming in from the same phone number and others that only had the last digit different. They never left a voicemail or anything. So, I just blocked them all.

Got a call from almost the same number as those scammers from yesterday, only the final digit was different. Turns out it was scammers again, and they ended up hanging up on me.

Since this number didn’t come up flagged as a scam, I picked up. At first, a voice that sounded like some kind of AI asked, “Can you hear me?” When I said yes, they claimed to be from the Housing Disrepair Team. They went on to say I’d reported a repair to the council or local authority but was unhappy it hadn’t been fixed, and that they might help sort it and even get me compensation. Problem is, I’ve never made any repair complaints, so the whole thing seemed off. I told them so and, yet again, requested my number be taken off their calling list.
