Got a message saying there was a payment tried on 10/05 at noon from some new gadget. If it wasn’t me, it’s a scam for sure. Real HSBC never calls from a mobile number, they always go for numbers beginning with 0345. Plus, they usually mention your name. I’m a HSBC customer, so I can tell. They’ve been pulling this trick with various banks for a while now.
