This number (01284647872) kept ringing me over and over, and when I finally picked up, there was a voice claiming to be from Amazon asking me to press 1. Luckily, I usually ignore calls from unknown numbers, so I never pressed anything.

This number rang my elderly aunt pretending to be Amazon Prime, claiming she had an outstanding fee of £79.99 for her membership. They told her to press 1 if she didn’t want to get charged. Sadly, she ended up pressing the option. Fingers crossed nothing bad comes out of this now - really hoping she isn’t hassled again.

Got a call from 012150652202 at about 8:19 in the morning, but they didn’t leave any message. I checked online and some places say it might be Amazon. Not sure tho.

Just got a call telling me I’d be billed £79.99 from Amazon Prime unless I hit 4. Thing is, I’ve never signed up for Prime, not even with any deals or anything. Pretty sure it's a scam.

Hey [correct name], I got those files you mentioned before, but I’m not clicking that link, looks dodgy to me. Kinda creeped out they already have my number and name though. Feels like a phishing thing, really annoying!

sounds like a scam to me, so i just ignored it. the message said something like "please keep this private as not many folks know about the files talked about before." my advice? just delete it. the number was 07485470679.

Got a text that said it was the files I’d been looking for, told me to keep it hush as it’s meant to be secret. There was a wetransfer link too. Didn’t trust it, so I blocked the number and reported it straight away.

got a text from this number out of the blue. said something about “files we talked about before” but ive never had any convo like that. it also said to keep it secret and only for my eyes and gave a link to download some file. seemed dodgy so im thinking its some kinda phishing attempt to infect my phone. just gone ahead and deleted the message straight away.

Got a message like "hey xxx here’s the file we talked about, just for your eyes!" and it had a link after that. I just deleted the text and blocked the number straight away - wasn’t about to risk clicking on that link.

I've been getting calls from people claiming I've got a tax refund because of the coronavirus, but it's obviously just a scam trying to trick you.
