Over the last couple of days, I've gotten about four calls where the moment I pick up, they just hang up straight away.

Got an automated voicemail asking about payments we supposedly made, which we never did, and they want us to ring back. Definitely doesn't seem legit.

Was just a random call, guy asked if we were a company, got all flustered once he realised, and quickly ended the call. Definitely had that typical call centre vibe.

I got a call warning me about strange, big charges on my credit card from some big online store. They told me to hit a button on my phone to talk to their security team. Don’t fall for it, it’s definitely a scam.

SCAM ALERT - These people claim to be from Microsoft, saying your computer's been hacked. They’ll ask for your “serial number” and might say it's something like 888DCA60-FC08. Then they get you to run some commands like assoc and point to a CLSID, pretending it's your serial number. It’s NOT your actual serial. When you call them out or mess around, they get annoyed real quick. Classic scammers. LOL.

Got a call out of the blue from an unknown number. Didn’t ask for it at all.

Yesterday afternoon, I happened to be around when I got two calls from someone saying they were from Santander Bank, telling me that my mum should be getting a refund in her account. This isn’t the first time either, as these calls have been happening for a while now. Luckily, I was there to catch it.

Today, I got a call on my home phone from some bloke with a clearly pre-recorded message. He claimed to be from Visa and kept saying "hello customer" like some sort of robot. He said there was a problem with my account, even mentioning online gambling charges. It was dead obvious it was a scam, so I just hung up straight away without listening to the whole spiel.

Trying to scam me and they didnt even get my name right. Told me some stuff that made no sense at all. Totally dodgy call.

Got a call on my BT landline on the 11th of May from 07485044984. It was one of those fake visa bank scams, an automated message. Reported it straight away to bt.com/scams. Honestly, banks and credit card firms don’t call like that ever. It’s about time the law caught up with these scammers, locked them up in Belmarsh for like a decade, and then sent them packing back to Libya for good.
