I saved the number and had a look on this site - cheers for that! Seems like these lot must be pretty bored, maybe they’re trying their luck in Shropshire now.

Total scam! They claimed to be verifying COVID vaccinations, but then started fishing for personal info about things like life insurance and the like. Just dodgy behaviour all around!

Some bloke with an Asian accent keeps ringing me up pretending to be from the GMC, saying he's got hold of my medical records and asking about Covid jabs. I'm well fed up with his constant calls. Today, I made it clear, and I mean pretty bluntly, that he’s not to call me ever again!

Got a call from a man with an Indian accent saying he was from GMC, asking if I’d experienced any side effects after my COVID jabs and whether I’d told my doctor about them. Then he started asking about my life insurance, which struck me as odd. That’s when I realised something wasn’t right and asked some tough questions. He hung up straight away. So I looked it up here and yep, definitely dodgy.

The caller then moved on to ask about Covid jabs, life insurance stuff, and even loans, telling me the government was helping folks with debt payments. That's when I realised it was a total scam! Something felt off the whole time, but being an exhausted mum today, my head just wasn’t working right. I can’t believe I talked to them for so long! Anyway, I’ve reported the number and blocked it now.

So this so-called social health department, which is probably fake, has been reported to action fraud and the cops. Weirdly enough, this number is with Three UK, so it's definitely a real mobile number, not some VoIP spoof. That should make it easier for the police to trace where it’s coming from in the UK - if they actually bother to follow up.

Somebody rang up and straight away asked if I’d had my Covid jab plus the booster, without even using my name. I asked them who they were and how they’d got my phone number. I didn’t share any details, just said that any proper health service would have that info already. Then, suddenly, they just ended the call!
