So this guy was supposed to be delivering my food through Just Eat. Even though I buzzed him into the building, he wouldn’t come upstairs. Then he told me to meet him down in the car park, which I did, only to find he’d already vanished. After a few minutes, he put in the last two digits of my number and said the order had been dropped off - but I never got anything. Definitely a dodgy driver, and I’ve told the police about it. Just Eat doesn’t seem to be doing much about it though.

Got a call today on my landline from someone asking for me by name, saying they were delivering food but didn’t know my address. They kept pushing me to confirm my name and share my address. Since I hadn’t ordered anything, I didn’t say anything and just ended the call. It felt a bit fishy to me. Lately, I had a credit card scam happen to me and I’m super cautious now, especially as the scammer managed to open an online banking account in my name with just a few bits of info.
