Got a similar call myself, rang the number back but no luck getting through. I was advertising on Gumtree for some commercial space, so I was pretty annoyed to receive a text about a flatshare instead.

Gumtree nuisance. I posted an ad to rent out my flat and these lot keep messaging me non stop. Not sure it’s really harmful, just super irritating. Feels like everything’s turned into a mad circus these days. Proper p###erworld.

Got a message from this number at 8.20 in the morning saying, ‘Hi (name), if you’re still hunting for a place to rent, maybe check out [#]FlatmateRooms[###], you might find something faster. Hope this helps. Have a nice morning.’ I put up an ad on Gumtree to rent out a whole house or flat, NOT to share. Proper annoying!

Got a weird text saying: "Hello Vodafone user, get unlimited calls and texts from just £12.50. Vodafone-enabled SIM card. Interested? Reply YES and we’ll ring you back." No clue who it’s from, doesn’t seem legit Vodafone and definitely not from any official Vodafone number. Looks like a spammy message to me.
