i got in touch with my bank and they said this is actually a scam where they mess with transaction queries. the first text looks like it’s from the bank, but it’s just a trick to steal your info. the scammers didn’t manage to confirm who i was, and when i gave them the number 08000326052, the real bank called me back and said they didn’t know that number and are pretty worried about it.

it aint no scam. after u get the txt message from natwest (thats royal bank of scotland btw) the fraud dept will ring you up pretty quick. you can just say you’ll call them back on the number at the back of your card, just to be totally sure. i had some online fraud once but my bank caught it in time.

i just got a couple of texts from this number claiming to be from the royal bank of scotland. they said there were two charges on my debit card, £186.90 and £101.20 for some 'traintine', and that my card was blocked now. sounds like a total scam to me, so dont fall for it and definitely dont answer their question where they want a yes or no back.

Ignore my previous note about this number, it’s totally safe. I just rang them myself and now my bank card’s been cancelled. Tried to remove my earlier message but couldn’t.

Today, I got a message from this number regarding three transactions made with my debit card. It raised my eyebrows, so I decided to call the fraud hotline for NatWest that I found on their online banking site. Turns out, those transactions were dodgy, and they've already initiated a refund for me. Plus, they're sending me a new card as we speak!
