Today, I received a peculiar call from a woman claiming I was somehow involved in a car accident. Honestly, it struck me as pure nonsense. I'm well-acquainted with these types of scams revolving around accident claims, so it didn’t take me long to see through her ruse.

My phone was on silent so I didn’t notice the call from this number until about 30 minutes later when I checked it. Luckily, I spotted it and have gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I got a call from someone claiming to be AMS. When I asked what AMS meant, she said Accident Management Scheme and started going on about a supposed accident I’d been in. I was like, “Are you serious? Calling people who clearly haven’t had any accident must be so depressing.” She just said, “If I don’t help you, I’m helping others,” and then cut me off straight away. Pretty dodgy and really impolite. Scam for sure.

This number has been ringing me for a few days now. Since I didn't know who it was, I just ignored it. After checking the reviews, I'm quite relieved I chose not to pick up.

I've had calls all day, like 9 times, from these people bringing up a car accident claim that supposedly closed back in 2019. Each time they tried to put me through to someone else to chat about some kind of inconvenience claim. They said they're located in Birmingham and other places too. It felt like a complete scam, just trying to get my info. I've blocked the number and let my insurance firm know what's going on.

I got a call about a crash and a claim linked to me, then was put through to another person. While I was still chatting, I asked for the company name so I could check them out online. When I requested the car's registration I was supposedly involved with, they said they couldn’t give it to me because of GDPR rules. I told them I might have been in a rental car and insisted they tell me the accident date and the vehicle info, but then he just ended the call. Before that happened, he mentioned he was working from a call centre in South Africa because of Covid. Total scam, for sure.

This bloke told me I’d been in a small accident. I told him I hadn’t bumped into any kids lately. Then he said “minor accident”. I asked if he meant those lads who work down the coal mine, cos if that’s the case, I’ve got no idea what he’s on about! He went and called me a clown. I told him to piss off.
