I've come across this number and I must say, it's definitely a scam! Don't engage with it at all. If you absolutely have to call back, remember to use 141 to withhold your number. But honestly, it's probably not worth your time because you’ll just get a recorded message stating that the number isn’t recognised. Having worked in telecommunications myself, I can tell you they likely direct the call to a hunt group that has no one on the other end. So whatever you do, don’t provide them with any personal banking information. And if they request a PIN, just respond with this cheeky little code: P155. 0ff.

If someone set it up as a business line, then if you called back out of curiosity, you’d get charged like £1.50 per call. Loads of people probably fall for that! I initially assumed the calls were related to my business, as I had been inundated with them throughout the morning, lunchtime, and evening.
