Loads of calls from Indian scammers trying to sell web design stuff. Whenever I deal with GoDaddy, these annoying calls just keep coming non-stop, and it feels sketchy like they might be up to no good. Got 4 calls just this morning within one hour. Proper irritating!

Ever since I signed up a new domain, loads of calls come from different numbers, mainly 123. I’ve never had issues with other providers before. I blocked my number the next day, but they probably had my details already - maybe they buy lists, coz otherwise, how else? Every time I block one, another one pops up. If you ask to speak with a manager or find out the company name, they just say it's about website design and shift you to someone offering to create your site. That bloke also acts like his English isn't great.

hey, if this number is linked to Godaddy, it might not be them sharing your info directly. unless you paid extra or chose to keep your details private, info is usually listed publicly in the register. that could be why you’re getting these calls.

Got loads of calls today from this number and some others, all from foreigners trying to sell website design stuff. Just got a new domain with GoDaddy and looks like they’ve gone and shared my number everywhere. So much for GDPR and data privacy, eh? And funny thing, these callers from India don’t seem to take “leave me alone” very well!

Like some others mentioned, these are Indian scammers pretending to be web designers and they snag details from WHOIS. I told them to take my number off their list but they just ignored me and even got rude once, ringing me over and over again - one day they called 16 times! Right now, as I’m typing, they’ve rung me 8 times already using that cloned number and another one too.

I got a phone call today from someone asking for the company name I use for domain registration, so I suspected it was something to do with domains. When I asked who was calling, they just hung up. Just like others have mentioned, the caller had an Indian accent. They've rung me four times today, but I haven’t picked up. I did sign up for a couple of new domains a few days ago, so after finding this site, I’m pretty sure it’s linked to that. Total spam, spam, spam! It’s a relief to see GDPR actually making a difference, isn’t it?

With GDPR in place, you'd think these calls would stop, but nope, still coming through. I got a call from a man with an Indian accent asking about a domain name I supposedly bought recently. I kept quiet, but he kept pushing, asking if I owned any other domains. Seriously, why on earth would I share that info with some random bloke calling from India?
