Got a call earlier today from someone asking if I owned a computer. I asked which one they meant and then the bloke just ended the call. He had a voice that sounded a bit like he was Chinese or maybe had a Bruce Lee kinda accent.

Had a laugh this morning with ‘Microsoft team’ - they called back as promised on the 07478 number above but I told them I still couldn’t find my glasses. Some bloke said he was from Microsoft, saying there was malware on my PC. I told him I was driving down a dual carriageway and had stopped in a layby, so I couldn’t check my computer right then. He then asked if he could ring me back later. After that, I mentioned he had the wrong name for me, and then he just gave up.

Just like loads of others, I got a call from someone claiming to be a Microsoft tech, saying there was an issue with my PC and I had to switch it on. I was well aware it was a scam, so I kept him on the line, telling him my computer wouldn't start and I suspected hackers had already broken in. After a while, I reckon he twigged I was messing around and got really rude before slamming the phone down. I've blocked their numbers several times, but they always ring back using a different one!

Got a call from this number earlier, and the guy said there was a court order against us for some unpaid advert charges. He warned they'd be here within 40 minutes to check what they could seize for the debt. It was seriously scary and stressful, but we soon figured out it was just a dodgy scam.

This number 07478030812 called my house in north Wales at about 11:19am on Tuesday 30th January 2018. The bloke spoke with what sounded like an Indian accent claiming he was from Microsoft. I told him straight up he wasnt from Microsoft and he was fibbing. He kept insisting he was telling the truth. I told him he was a nasty person and when he meets his maker, he’ll end up in hell. Then he hung up. Ive now blocked this number as I reckon it’s dodgy, probably tryin to scam or nick info. WATCH OUT everyone!!

Today at 12.27pm, I got a call from a lady claiming to be with Microsoft. She said hackers were attempting to get into my computer. She asked if my computer was switched on, and I said no. Then she told me to turn it on and check, but I just ended the call because it felt like a scam!

He had an Indian accent and mentioned a name but I didn’t quite catch it. Claimed he was ringing about my computer. When I said I don’t own a computer, he quickly switched to saying “your laptop”. I told him there was no way he could know if I had one or not, then he just hung up straight away.

At about 9 in the morning, I got a call on my landline from a bloke with an Eastern accent claiming to be a MICRO ENGINEER. He said hackers had been trying to break into my laptop and mentioned some 32 digit code that was supposedly my unique security number. I found it fishy straight away, especially since he was so insistent and kept pushing me to open my laptop right away, which I definitely wasn’t going to do. For a second, I did feel a bit uneasy, but then I looked up the number and realised it had to be a scammer just waiting to trick someone and steal their info. Common sense saved me there.

Got a call from this number at about 8:55 in the morning, but there was no one speaking on the other side. Didn’t recognise the number at all. When it showed up on my phone, it said it was an international call, but none of my mates live overseas. Checked this site and yep, it’s definitely a scam. I told him to go on then hung up straight away. He called back right away and asked "Why did you hang up without my consent?" I said "Who do you think you are?" and put the phone down again. Someone phoned asking if this was a business number. I asked for his full name, role, company, and what he wanted. He got all pushy, telling me I had to give him my name. Got a call from this number by a bloke speaking with an Indian accent claiming he was from Microsoft. He said he was gonna block my computer. I was like "Yeah right, Microsoft doesn’t do that." But he kept pushing and said, "Talk to our blocking department, here’s the blocking department, hello" (it was just him again!).
