Got a call from someone saying they were from a firm wanting to check our solar panels, but they used the old owners’ name, not mine. Made me really doubtful right away.

I received a phone call from this number, supposedly about assessing our solar panel setup. The caller introduced himself as being with The Awareness Centre in Colchester, claiming he was “in the vicinity” and had gotten our contact information from our solar installer for a follow-up check. He was quite eager to schedule a visit, suggesting either today or tomorrow. However, when I probed a bit about the legitimacy of “The Awareness Centre” and mentioned that I could find no trace of them online, the call abruptly dropped. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
