got a call about some kind of money saving scheme, but the number was blocked so i just ignored it.

I just had a call from someone claiming to be from Expert Savers, and honestly, I’m a bit puzzled. The bloke, who was either called Naish or Nesh, double-checked my name, insisting that it wasn't a sales pitch. The line was crystal clear, and his voice was very distinct. But as soon as I asked him to elaborate on why he needed that information, he abruptly cut off the conversation. Quite odd, if you ask me!

I keep gettin these sales calls out of nowhere, so I just block the number straight away. Definitely better than dealin with unwanted cold calls!

this guy asked if i was a certain person, i asked who was on the line but he just ignored that and said he was calling from legal & general, sounded like he might be african. i told him again i hadn’t said i was the person he was asking for, i wanted to know who he actually was. he just carried on, saying this was a confirmation call. got fed up and hung up then blocked the number. i’ve heard about these scams where they try to get you to say yes to confirm stuff, it’s dodgy and feels really like harassment. watch out for these calls, they’re dangerous.
