Just got a whatsapp message saying ‘Mum, this is my new number, save it pls’ but I’m not a mum and I’ve had this same sort of message from a different number before! So I just blocked it.

Got a call from this number and they actually knew my name, but the bloke was hard to catch and then just dropped the call. After seeing the comments here, I rang back and chose option 2 for Company Care. The company called itself “I love my Office” or something like that. I told the woman to take my info off their records.

Missed a couple of calls from this number before, so thought I’d pick up just in case. It was a woman with an accent I couldn’t place. She didn’t know my name and when I asked who she was, she said “Jessica.” Didn’t seem at all legit. Didn’t bother listening any longer, just ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Seemed really sketchy to me.

Why isnt anyone in charge doing anything about this number & other scam calls. If people started dealing with it themselves things could get a lot worse. These scammers should just be kicked out of the country straight away.

I’ve saved the number under SPAM on my phone now, so I won’t bother picking up if they ring again. I do the same with all these annoying calls - just leave it to ring out and they usually give up. I just got a call from some American bloke who was talking absolute rubbish.

I couldn’t quite make out the company he claimed to be with. He started asking about if I own a car, have a credit card, or a loan. I just told him I wasn’t sharing any details and ended the call. Honestly, he was trying to pry into stuff that’s none of their business. How they even got my number is a mystery. They should stop pestering folks and find proper work!
