Got a call on a Saturday morning which felt off straight away because there was that annoying pause before they spoke. When I answered, the woman called me “sir” and then bluntly asked whether it was a sales call. She was really rude, demanding to be let talk and saying things like “what’s your problem?” I told her I’m on the TPS list and she just hung up on me. Definitely came across as either a scam or some pushy telemarketer.
