Yet another annoying call! I reckon this one’s connected to a bunch of other calls I get from different mobiles, like 07909 635410. They ring me like three times a day. If I don’t recognise the number, I just let it ring, then look it up and block it.

Got a call from an Asian lady claiming to be from some credit investigation team. I told her I wasn’t interested at all!!! It was so irritating and honestly kinda freaked me out since she knew my full name. Can’t something proper be done to stop these calls?!

Got a call from someone with an Indian or Pakistani accent, saying they were working for Microsoft and my Windows was having problems. I told them my PC was switched off and asked if they could hold while I turned it on. Then I just went to make a cuppa, came back and said I actually use a MAC. They hung up straight away!

Got a call from a man with an Indian accent claiming he was from the CAB in Sheffield. He even mentioned my address. When I asked him to prove he was actually from CAB, he snapped back with "dont shout at me, motherf##ker" and just hung up. I tried calling back but it just goes to voicemail for someone named "sandi" or "sanji" ??

Got a call from a woman with an asian accent claiming she was from Citizens Advice. She told me my creditors had given her details about my debts and she could help me clear half of it. When I asked if she really worked for Citizens Advice, she just ended the call. I’m actually in a bank’s governance team, so I’m certain this is a scam. Stay clear of this number and don’t bother calling back.

Got a call from someone in India claiming I owed money, said I couldn’t even afford my rent. They had my full name too, which freaked me out. Honestly, where on earth are they finding all our info?

Received calls from this number and a bunch of others, always the same Indian guy picking up. The last time I talked to them, they claimed I had debts that could be slashed by half. I told them I wasn’t interested and to stop calling. Then the guy muttered some awful swear words at me before hanging up. I've put them on block but they still ring from new numbers. Best to just ignore these calls.

Got a call from some Indian guy saying it was about money I owe, which is rubbish coz I don’t owe anything. Told him he was a scammer and he just hung up. Been getting loads of calls like this for days now. Seems like these scammers keep at it for a couple of weeks then stop for a bit before starting again with a new trick. How come nothing’s done about it when some folks might actually get caught out?

This number just rang me, and a woman who said her name was Sandeep claimed she was from CAB, talking about debts I supposedly owe. I asked how she got my details because I don’t have any debts, and she said it was from the Financial Conduct Authority. When I pressed her on what debts exactly she meant, she just ended the call. Definitely a scam - steer clear!

Got a call from an Indian bloke claiming he had details about my unsecured debt. Told him I was busy at work and couldn’t chat. He asked if he could quickly explain why he was calling, so I said alright, go ahead. Then he started talking about my unsecured debt, which I told him I don’t have, and he just hung up. These scammers gotta be stopped, they’re gonna catch some innocent people out. It’s proper annoying and needs to be dealt with.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent, sounded like he was in one of those call centres with background noise and all. He wanted to speak to the owner of the Microsoft computer. I told him the person was out at work. Then he said he’d ring again later. Dunno what it was about exactly. He didn’t leave any proper message, just said “tell him I’ll call back”. This number rang me up earlier, and the bloke on the line had a strong Indian accent, saying he was a caseworker from the CAB. He started talking about some unsecured loan debts. I told him straight away that he wasn’t really from the CAB, and then he lost it, telling me to “drop the damn phone or I’ll smear s**t all over your face.” Proper weird and quite nasty call.

got two calls today from places saying they could help with unsecured debt. this one bloke with an indian accent, sounded like he was in some call centre, said he was from the ‘citizens advice department’ and could assist wit my debts. i said I owe nothing and he just hung up. earlier, another call from a different number and a company named ‘financial advice bureau’ also offering government help with unsecured debts, similar vibe and also dropped the call when I said I had none. seems like either a scam or just annoying telemarketers wasting our time.

He said he was calling from 100 Victoria Street, London - like Microsoft would actually run a call centre right in the middle of London and waste loads of cash on it!
