Received a call from someone saying they were from Visa Debit about a £900 payment taken from my account without my OK. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel it, but it sounds dodgy to me. Definitely feels like a scam.

Got a voicemail from this number claiming to be from Visa debit or something, never mentioned any specific branch. They said there was a dodgy £900 transaction on my card and told me to press 1 if I wanted to stop it. Bit fishy if you ask me, my bank’s never rung me like that and I would’ve had to approve it on the app anyway. I’ve blocked the number and reported it here in case anyone else gets the same dodgy call. Honestly, there needs to be tougher rules to deal with these kinds of scam callers.
