Just received a call from someone masquerading as O2, complete with a thick foreign accent. I'm convinced the number has been faked. There was a racket of noise in the background, unmistakably from a call centre environment.

Total scam! Pretending to be from O2 but it’s all a con.

The caller had a really soft voice and spoke with an accent from the Asian subcontinent. There was loads of background noise which made it tough to catch what she was trying to say. When I asked her to provide more info about the company she claimed to represent, she just went silent and didn’t answer anymore. So, I decided to hang up.
