Somebody rang saying they were from Amazon but didn’t even know my name. I told them straight up that it wasn’t Amazon calling. The woman asked how I was so sure. I said Amazon doesn’t actually make calls like this. She got pretty annoyed then. I told her she wasn’t really with Amazon, and she asked who had told me that. I explained that Amazon has warnings about scams posted online. She got more frustrated and hung up abruptly. I’ve blocked the number since.
