Got a call from 07443269647 about redoing solar panels. I told them to keep moving! Our number's ex-directory and on the TPS, yet the nuisance calls keep coming. Ridiculous how they ignore the rules!

Got a call from a chap claiming to be from My Evergreen, saying they’re checking out houses that could have solar panels installed and wanted to carry out a survey. He kept banging on about how energy prices keep shooting up every year, trying to scare me into agreeing. After having a search, there’s no sign of this company anywhere, so it’s clearly another scam like some others have said.

Got a call from a woman claiming she was from something called My Evergreen, talking about an energy assessment. I tried to check them out but found zilch. When I asked where she got my number from, she said something like the Energy Preference Scheme, which I also couldn’t find any info on. Pretty sure it’s a scam.

Got a call from this number saying they’d give me a free upgrade on insulation and cavity walls. I called 1471 to check who it was on my mobile. When I mentioned in the call that it sounded dodgy, the woman actually agreed I had every reason to be wary. Totally a scam for sure.

Somebody rang me claiming there was an issue with my loft insulation. They said their files showed I had insulation that might be problematic. I asked how they could tell what kind of insulation I have and they said it was fitted under a government program around five years ago. But that’s not true. When he asked what insulation I use, I said nicely that it was none of their concern and I’m fine with what I've got. Ended up blocking the number.

On 25/04/22, I got a call from 0744326947. The person claimed to be a county conservation advisor linked to Honeywell. They mentioned it was their responsibility to check if people between 50 and 85 needed a survey for asbestos insulation. Quite odd, if you ask me.
