I picked up thinking it was the plumber ringing, but it turned out to be an automated voice claiming to be from HMRC saying there was fraud on my account. I hung up straight away and called HMRC myself. After a long wait of about 20 minutes, someone finally answered and told me it was a new type of scam going around.
