Bit surprised to be the first one sharing about this number. Got a call supposedly from the 'National Crime Agency' saying there’s some issue with my National Insurance number. They told me to hit ‘1’ to talk to an agent or else my N.I. number would be blocked. Funny thing is, pressing ‘1’ was the only option - no other choices given. Honestly, any call that starts with a recorded message makes me wary straight away.
