It's beyond me how these clueless nuisances keep on bothering folks with no consequences. It's really upsetting to think about how many people, especially the more vulnerable, get scared or annoyed by these calls. Honestly, the phone companies are just cashing in and turning a blind eye. The ones doing the calling are just awful people, and proper laws could stop them, but instead, we just sit back and do nothing, letting these jerks get away with their harassment. So frustrating!

Got a call with no sound atall, just silence on the other end. Strange and a bit annoying.

I didn’t pick up but right away got a call back from this number 00312840074628. It was a guy with an Indian accent saying there was something wrong with my PC online. I told him there wasn’t any issue and just ended the call.

I got a call from 07425340994 about some free roof survey. I listened to all the nonsense, told the woman I was on the TPS list, then she just cut me off. A minute later, someone named Lee rang from 0141 237 2209, saying they were from S R Roofing. Told 'em again I wasn’t interested.

Got a call from 07425340994 and there was just silence on the other end, but they kept me tied up for like 30 mins! So frustrating. I’m on the TPS, ex-directory and got BT’s nasty call blocker switched on. Yet these annoying calls just won’t quit. What’s the point of paying all this money if they can’t stop it? A bloke claimed he was from some local construction company supposedly working nearby and that the council had told them to offer whatever it was they’re selling to other residents, saying I might be eligible for something. Yeah, sure! I bet he’s just completely ignored the latest data privacy laws by ringing me up without my consent, probably using a contact list with no permission at all. Why on earth would I let some stranger who just cold-called me, someone I’ve never met or know nothing about, represent a company and get anywhere near my property?!

Someone called asking to speak to Mrs XXX, likely trying the name from the phonebook. Thing is, there’s no Mrs XXX here - I’m Mr XXX’s wife and I don’t take his last name. We’ve had this number for nearly two decades. Caller said he was with a local roofing company, which is odd as we live in flats, so no roof to fix. When I mentioned our number is on the TPS register, the bloke got annoyed and just hung up on me.
