I got a call from an automated voice claiming there were some payments showing up on my bank account linked to Amazon and other places, and it told me to press 2 to get through to the bank’s security team. But nowhere did it say the actual bank’s name. I’ve heard a message just like this one before, so it felt very dodgy. If you’re worried, the best thing to do is call your bank directly from a different phone.
