I received a call from someone purporting to be affiliated with my local council, asking intrusive questions regarding my medical history. It’s clearly an attempt at data harvesting - definitely a scam!

I received a rather suspicious call from a woman claiming to represent my local council, seeking to confirm whether my vaccination details were correctly recorded by my GP. First off, it’s rather odd for someone from a council to be ringing from their personal mobile, isn't it? Secondly, if there were any discrepancies with my records, I’m quite certain my GP would reach out directly instead of relying on random phone calls. And honestly, why on earth would a local council have any need to probe into my medical information? Feels quite intrusive if you ask me!
