Got a call from someone saying they were from my local council, asking for details about my medical history. Definitely a data collection scam - watch out for this sort of trick!

A lady rang me claiming she was from the local council, checking if my GP records for vaccinations were current. First off, if you're genuinely with the council, why would you be calling from a private mobile? Secondly, if my GP needed any info, surely they'd get in touch themselves. Lastly, why on earth should a council have any say or access to my private health details? It all felt really dodgy to me.
