Somebody phoned up pretending to be from Amazon, claiming there was a £749 charge for an iPhone bought in California on my account. They even asked me to give them the passcode they supposedly sent! I told them straight up I knew it was a scam. They argued, asking why they’d send a passcode if they were lying. I replied it’s exactly because they’re scammers. Then they got really nasty, telling me I should get a life and even said I should die... quite a shocking call!
