Got a call from someone saying they were from Citizens Advice - kept pushing and threatening to call the police on me. The person spoke with a noticeable Chinese accent, which made it all seem dodgy. Proper harassment.

Got a call from some bloke at a call centre, sounded like he was from the asian subcontinent, saying he was from citizens advice and could "help" with my debts. He asked me to verify my email, but as soon as I said I ain't in debt to anyone, he started getting proper annoyed. Totally a scam if you ask me.

I decided not to pick up, but after checking the number and reading what others said here, I’ve gone ahead and blocked it.

Got a call from someone with really poor English, saying they were with Citizens Advice. They claimed my name popped up on some government list for owing credit card debts. Trouble is, they didn’t even know my actual name! I just left him chatting away while my TV was blaring in the background. After a while, he just gave up and hung up.
