I received a call today on my home phone from a rather articulate gentleman who wanted to discuss a life insurance policy with me. However, the moment I politely turned him down, he became surprisingly pushy, and his politeness evaporated in an instant! It left a rather sour taste in my mouth, to be honest. Quite disheartening.

Some bloke called ‘Josh’ from this company ‘quote’ rang me up and was weirdly aware of my name and who my life insurance provider was. He claimed he’d sort out all the recent policy updates since covid started. Funny enough, we’d literally reviewed all our insurance this week, otherwise I reckon Josh could’ve tricked us into some new plan that wouldn’t match the protection we’d arranged before covid. Proper dodgy if you ask me.

they called and used the wrong name for me

Every time I pick up, theres loud music blaring in the background. Occasionally I can make out a voice, but whenever I try to talk back, the caller just stays silent. Pretty sure they've dialled the wrong number.
