i got a call from some company saying they could clear 80% of my debts, but i don’t even have any debt. they kept claiming it was part of a government program, but when i asked them for the exact name so i could search online, they just told me it was something called an iva. felt like a total scam to me.

Got a call from some debt consolidation folks saying they'd clear debts because of COVID. I told them I don't owe anything, but they just kept going on about wiping electric bills? Complete rip-off if you ask me.

I saw I'd missed a call from this number so I tried calling back, but it just said the number wasn't valid. Pretty sure it's some sort of scam.

Somebody rang me up pretending they were from a government department, saying they could wipe out 80% of the money I owe. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

So I got a ring today from someone claiming to be with a company, going on about how much cash I'd save with solar panels. Thing is, he never actually mentioned which company he was from, so I just told him thanks but no thanks and hung up.
