This number 07418600172 keeps ringing, total waste of time. They’re nothing to do with me, honestly just send 'em back where they belong. What an annoyance!

This number has rung me loads times today, and everytime I pick up it's the same thing. Today they said that Lowell Debt Collections gave them my details about an old debt I supposedly owe, and now they're threatening legal action. But Lowell always told me they'd never pass my info to anyone else, so I’m not convinced this is legit.

Some bloke rang saying he was with the government, offering to help clear my debt. I told him I didn’t owe anything and asked if he could take my info off their records. He said no, because he’s part of the “government.” I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

I got a call yesturday from someone sayin they were from debt line. I blocked the number right away, but they’ve rung me 4 times today. Got a call from 07418600172 today, Tuesday 27/10/2020, at about 12:14. The person asked for me by name and said they were from a Government Debt Consolidation Scheme supposedly set up because of the Covid-19 crisis. They were trying to find out how much debt I had so the Government could clear it. I told them I don’t owe anything, called them a scammer, and said I’d report the number. They hung up straight away. I blocked the number and reported it both to BT and the authorities.

Got a call from an Asian lady named “Jenny” claiming to be from the government about some unpaid debts. She sounded like she was reading from a script and quite poorly at that. When I asked for a website to check, she told me they didn’t have one. Since when does the government start phoning people from mobile numbers? Bit fishy if you ask me.

I then asked who told them to ring me, but no answer. I told her that debt management firms must stick to the FCA rules and they’re breaking them by cold calling me. I said I’ll be reporting them to the FCA and to take my number off their list. Haven’t been called since 😀
