1 yearI almost got caught out by this one - someone saying they were from Three mobile rang me, then followed up with an email asking me to pay £32 which they said would be refunded in two days for some mobile contract. When the lady called back, sounded like she was Chinese, I told her straight it was a scam since I’d already checked with Three mobile. I also said I’d reported her number and email to the police fraud team. She ended the call pretty quick after that.2 yearsI've had phone calls from them pretending to be everything from stockbrokers to energy companies, even said they were debt collectors once. They warned me they'd switch off my electricity in 24 hours, but it's been a week and nothing's happened, clearly just bluffing. The woman on the line had a strong Indian accent, and the number they used belongs to an ismi phone provider. I'd steer clear of these lot or call them out for being scammers.
