Stay well clear of this! A bloke calling himself "Hassan" claimed to be a business and home utilities broker. He tricked me into agreeing to a deal with this awful company called Maxen Power by pretending he was from British Gas and that my rates were about to increase. Foolishly, I fell for it and went along with switching providers. I’ve complained to Maxen Power and tried to cancel, but unfortunately, I’m stuck in a 5-year contract. Don’t be as daft as I was. If you get a call from this person, just block the number and don't answer back.
