For over a decade now, I’ve been getting calls from Bodrul Ahmad at Initial Advice Ltd, which seems to be connected to Wimbledon Guild of Social Work. They have this offshoot, Need More Time Limited, and all of them share the same board with Commsave, the credit union linked to Unite. If your loan application with Commsave doesn’t go through, they pass your number to Initial Advice. Bodrul’s been persistent, calling up to 14 times in just a couple of days and keeps at it for months, sometimes years. They present themselves as a social work-related outfit, but their constant hassling about managing money or pensions when you’ve got no debts is getting a bit much.

Got a weird voicemail from this number, and my phone actually flagged it as a scam call. Strange stuff.

When I answered, all I could hear was a big sigh before they just dropped the call. What’s the use of that? Maybe they realised I’m not the easy target they were hoping for.
