Just got a call from this number claiming there was suspicious activity on my Google Pay linked to my bank, saying I'd supposedly made a £900 payment I never actually authorised. Nothing showed up on my bank app or notifications at all, not even any pending payments around that figure. Then the person on the phone asked me to install AnyDesk from the Google Play store, which set off alarm bells for me. Feels like it was probably a scam try, but I wasn’t 100% sure at the moment.
