I never picked up, but they went ahead and texted me saying "who is this", like they were trying to find out who I was. I never rang them first or anything.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Legal & General about my life insurance. Kinda odd, coz I never bought any life cover to begin with.

Got a call from someone saying they’re from my insurance provider wanting to go over my policy. They asked for lots of personal info but I wasn’t comfortable sharing anything on the phone. When I said no, the caller got really annoyed and started shouting, so I just ended the call. Reading through other comments here, it looks like a scam. Best to stay clear of these calls!

Got a call from someone saying they were with AIG insurance, trying to go over my policy. I kept asking why AIG would be ringing me on my mobile, and the woman got really annoyed. Eventually, she just hung up on me. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Loads of calls from this number and a few others like 07416 784123, 07790 568724, 07475 896046, and 07973 100606 keep coming through about some insurance stuff. They claim they've got your info and want to verify it, but I’m not sharing any details over the phone. They get really annoyed if you don’t comply and just end the call. Total scam in my opinion. I even asked why they’re using mobile numbers, and the guy couldn’t give me a straight answer. Absolutely dodgy - don’t give them anything and just keep blocking them!

Got a call from 07416787041 saying the government made them call me to go over my insurance policy. He kept pushing me to confirm my info so he could send me the paperwork, but I told him flat out I never share personal details on the phone. Still, he kept at it, quite persistent and annoying. This isn’t the first time I’ve dealt with them either, I block the number and then a different one pops up calling again! Something really needs to be done to stop these persistent calls!

In just the last few days, I've gotten about 10 calls from people saying they're from MetLife insurance. They kept telling me my policy was on hold and that I had to update it because of Covid. So, I checked with MetLife directly on their website and they told me it's totally a scam. Just a heads up to be careful!

I've had this number ring me loads of times, and my phone flagged it as probably spam. Didn't pick up, and after reading some comments, guess my phone wasn't wrong. I've gone ahead and blocked the number and reported it.
