9 monthsGot a call from someone claiming to be from Indeed asking me to add their number on WhatsApp to talk about a job. I’m not even job hunting and I’ve never used Indeed. It sounded like an automated message and the line went dead as soon as they finished speaking. Definitely felt like a scam.IndeedWhatsApp3 yearsHere’s how you can report scam calls, texts, emails and other scams easily through a system set up by the police (NFIB) - info I was given after raising concerns with my MP about the number of scam calls I was receiving. It seems scammers would rather keep this quiet. If people don’t report these fraud attempts, nothing much will change. While you can report to 7726, your mobile provider, Ofcom, or the firm the scammers pretend to be, those reports might not always reach the police for further criminal inquiry.NFIBOfcom3 yearsHe gave his first name okay, but when I asked who he actually was, he got really dodgy.3 yearsI looked up the number 07401081077 and it seems dodgy, probably some sort of scam.3 yearsThey were just trying to scam me, so I hung up right away and blocked the number. Better not to deal with those calls at all.4 yearsI tried ringing them back but the number just isn’t valid or recognised.4 yearsThey keep ringing me from loads of different numbers - definitely a scam.Submit Your Own Report (07401 081077)
