I got a call from a blocked number, the person spoke with a British accent and said he was from the Barclaycard fraud team. He asked me for the one-time text code to approve a payment, but when I questioned him about it being a scam, he got quite angry. Afterwards, the same number sent me a text message, so I’m not sure if it’s the real Barclaycard or just a fraudster trying again. Either way, I’ve decided to cancel my card just to be safe.

Got a message off this number saying I needed to confirm a payment I never done. The message before that said it was from Barclaycard. I rang them up and they told me it was a scam trying to get me to approve a charge to BLC shopping. They said they’ve already blocked it.
