I got a call from this number saying they were from BT Openreach, but they definitely weren’t connected to BT or Openreach in any way. The person on the phone told me my IP address had been compromised and insisted I log into my computer or phone so they could “show” me the issue. They then tried to get me to verify my IP address, claiming it had been altered. Be careful and don’t share any details because they’ll end up with remote control of your device.
