Got a text from "EE" saying my bill hadn’t been paid and there was a link to update my bank info. I rang EE and they told me it wasn’t from them - they never send payment links in texts. Sounds like a scam trying to grab your bank details. They said if you get a message like this pretending to be EE, you should send it straight to their security team by texting 7726.

Got a text saying my EE Direct Debit didn’t work… but I’m sure it did. Seems like a scam to me.

Seems like a scam to me. I’ve never had anything to do with E.E, but just got a message saying my direct debit info wasn’t sorted and to click this dodgy link to fix it... No thanks, not biting.
