I’ve definitely received a dodgy message! Just this morning at 8:52 AM on the 14th of September, I got a text claiming to be from my son. It said something along the lines of, “Hey Mum, I’ve switched networks to Three. Please drop me a message on my new number 07356040525 and make sure to get rid of the old ones as they are no longer in use.” Sounds like a scam to me!

Got a dodgy text at 8.52am on 14/9/23. It said something like, "Morning mum, just letting you know I've changed my phone provider to Three. Please text me on my new number 07356040525 and get rid of the old ones as they don't work anymore." Pretty sure it was a scam.

I got a message from a number I don't recognise, saying they’ve updated their contract and this is their new number. They kept referring to me as "madam," which felt really odd. It’s got scam vibes written all over it. The number in question is +447396756404, and it's not saved in my contacts.
