Heads up, everyone. This morning, my aunt got a call from 07396408659. The person on the other end pretended to be from BT, warning her that her phone line would be cut off in a day. When I rang back that number, it just wouldn’t connect. Later, I chatted with a really nice BT guy who confirmed that BT wasn’t behind those calls and mentioned he’s had loads of folks ringing in about the same scam today.
