Got a call from a woman with a foreign accent asking loads of questions about my broadband and utility companies. She somehow already had my full name and address, which was a bit creepy. She also wanted to know my age range and how I usually settle my bills. I’m not sure what her angle was since the call just abruptly ended after those questions - I fed her some random info about my providers and age group just to be safe. Like others have mentioned, she did say the call was being recorded.

I picked up when the phone rang and said I’d do three questions. Then they asked if it was alright to record the call for training. I said no, I wasn’t comfortable with that. The person on the other end sounded puzzled and started saying I ought to agree and that it was supposedly for my protection. I told her I was entitled to say no and found it odd how some random person was suddenly worrying about my safety. I ended the call, but they just keep ringing me back.

i keep getting calls from this number nonstop

I think this was a spammer for sure. Earlier today I picked up a call but there was just silence on the other end. Since then, I’ve been getting nonstop calls with no one saying anything or leaving a message. It’s been like this all afternoon.
