Got a call from someone saying they were with Legal & General. They said they needed to go over my life insurance because it supposedly didn’t cover COVID-19. Tried pushing me to share info so they could upgrade my plan. I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

Picked up the phone but there was just silence on the other side. Feels like it was one of those overloaded scam call centres with too many calls coming in at once.

This number has rung me a couple of times already. Today, they left a voicemail that lasted about 5 minutes but there was no real sound - just some shuffling of papers and a throat clearing now and again. When I gave them a ring back, believing it might be a mobile, I got the classic message saying "You’ve dialled a wrong number, please double check and try again." Definitely on my block list now!

Even though I've blocked the number, I keep getting about three or four voicemails a day, but no one leaves a message. It's really starting to get on my nerves now.

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent saying she was from Beagle Street Insurance. She tried to verify my info but I ended the call quickly. Then she rang me straight back so I hung up again. Her accent was really hard to understand. Seems like a scam to me, so I wouldn’t bother answering if I were you.

Got a call from 07389766366 claiming to be from Legal and General, said he wanted to go over my account. He kept asking loads of questions that surely Legal and General should already have on file. He said I needed to confirm my details so he could assist me. I said I’d ring the company myself as I was tied up, but he insisted he’d call me again later. My advice - don’t share a thing. Sounds like a proper scam to me.

I've been getting calls from this number three times today. I blocked it, but the calls still go straight to voicemail, where all I can hear is some sort of background noise.

This number has called me three times within five minutes, right after I ended the call. Then they rang straight back, asking why I’d disconnected. They said they were from Legal and General and told me my account was frozen because of some unpaid debts.

This number is definitely dodgy. Today they called about a cheap loan deal, but of course wanted me to pay something before anything else and asked for personal info like my DOB and bank details. Not falling for it!

When the phone rang, I just said I was with the police, then they hung up straight away. It started with them saying, “Good morning, Merseyside Police,” then quickly apologised for dialing wrong and ended the call, haha.

I usually avoid answering landlines when I don't know the number, so I didn’t pick up this one. Got a call around 9:20am today and it felt like a scam. Later on, at 1:20pm, the same number called again. Looked it up and yep, definitely another scam. Either they’re useless or just plain daft!

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been getting multiple calls everyday and night from this number. Just today, they hit me with 43 calls alone, claiming to be from citizens advice. It’s honestly getting a bit much!

This number, 07389766366, has been blowing my phone up all day - like 20 calls! They say they’re from Citizens Advice. I finally answered the last one and warned them I’d report to the police if they kept ringing. It’s been non-stop since 7am, even woke my kids up! When I told the guy to stop, he rudely told me to grow up and swore at me. Then he claimed I owe thousands and they're taking me to court. I ended the call, and less than two minutes later, they were back asking to speak with me again. Total nightmare!

I get calls all the time from the same kind of strange people, using all sorts of different numbers. They claim to be from Citizens Advice or debt collectors, but honestly, I have no idea what they want. It’s really dodgy and feels pretty unsafe. I’ve stopped answering altogether and just block them straight away - no talking to them at all. I’d tell anyone else dealing with this to do the exact same thing, don’t even waste time listening to what they say.

I got three calls from this number but every time I pick up or try to call back, the line just cuts out. Feels dodgy, like it could be some sort of scam trick to make you ring them again.

So this bloke claimed to be from some citizen debt help, but he spoke with a really strong Indian accent. I asked why he was calling from a mobile number, and he just laughed it off, saying something about it being auto-generated because they use some online system. Then when I asked where he was ringing from, he paused and blurted out Manchester. When I told him to erase my details, he got all nasty and said he’d have to inform the debt collectors. Definitely a scam, no doubt about it.

This number kept ringing me over and over, kept saying it was from some kind of citizens advice. I told the person I wasn't interested and ended the call. Guess what? They called right back! When I answered again, I told them to stop calling me, but they denied having called before. Then they told me I should just change my phone number if I don’t want their calls! Like, seriously? They said it’s because they get paid to keep calling people. What a load of rubbish, such complete scammers!

Really strange and sketchy folks on the other end. I dunno what they're after, but every day at least one new number rings me up claiming to be from Citizens Advice or some debt collectors. I just block them straight away, no chatting back. Honestly, I'd tell anyone else to do exactly that and not even let them say a word.

I keep getting these automated calls from this call centre, and they’re mostly about things like debt collection, car accident claims, and sometimes those PPI ones. It’s always a robotic voice, never anyone speaking directly.
