Just had the 4th call from a new number about life insurance quotes I got through money supermarket. I complained to them but they just shrugged it off, saying the small print explains if you pick contact by email only (as an example), that only applies to money supermarket getting in touch. Apparently, by requesting a quote, you automatically agree to your number being shared around. Completely daft. The only way to stop the calls is to get in touch with Life Search yourself and ask them to cease. Their email is [email protected]

Got a text from 07388 818347 saying it was from O2 and they couldn’t sort my latest bill. They told me to update my payment info to dodge charges, basically asking for my bank details! I worked out straight away it was a scam coz I don’t even have an O2 account or anything with them.
