Looks like a possible scam or phishing ring going on here. I checked this number and found at least 18 others had problems with it too. Feels more like some dodgy scam than a regular mobile number starting with 07. Stay careful out there!

Somebody phoned saying they were from EE, but they never asked for my full name or any details. Then they started telling me since I always pay my phone bills on time, I could get a 30% reduction for the whole year. They then insisted on having my email "for security reasons" and also to send me confirmation by email. The weird thing was they only shared the first and last letter of the email they supposedly had on file, and it wasn’t even right. When I refused to give my email, despite them pushing quite hard, they just dropped the call.

So the phone rang, I answered with a simple "Hello?" and the person on the other end just said "Good bye" before hanging up straight away. Pretty annoying, sounds like one of those calls meant to see if your number is active or not.
