A message popped up from this number saying Santander had blocked a £126 payment because they thought it might be dodgy. Apparently, some money had already gone off my account, and then there was another try straight after, but Santander caught it again. Before I could do anything, they sent me the text. I quickly blocked my card and rang the number on the back. Big shoutout to Santander for spotting that second one and acting so fast! Cheers 👍

Just got multiple calls from different numbers supposedly from blockchain, which I’m telling you is a total scam. The guy called himself Peter Derek, but the accent definitely didn’t match the name. They kept ringing over and over - really annoying and dodgy. Avoid!

This was definitely legit. I got a text and responded with a Y, then saw all these scary posts on WhoCalledMe and decided to ring Santander. They confirmed it was really from their security team, so no worries about it being a scam.
