I turned on Google call screening and the call just dropped. Pretty sure it was some sort of scam attempt.

I was trying to pick up the call but it just dropped straight away. No answer from their side - might be one of those scam calls that get cut off quickly.

At around 4:30 in the afternoon, I got a call from a bloke with what sounded like an Indian or Pakistani accent. He claimed he was ringing from the "EE Technical Department." Problem is, my mobile contract isn’t with EE at all, so I knew right away it was a dodgy call. I told him straight up that he wasn’t from EE and asked where he was really calling from. We went back and forth for about a minute, with him insisting he was from EE and me saying otherwise. Eventually, he got fed up with the banter before I did and just ended the call.
