I picked up but there was total silence on the line, so I just ended the call.

I got a call from someone with an offshore accent claiming to be from O2. They told me because of a 4G to 5G upgrade in my area, I needed a new SIM. I told them I already have 5G and use it fine, then they just ended the call. Pretty much the same thing happened yesterday from a number that looked almost the same.

They kept insisting they were my service provider, said it several times. I told them straight up they weren’t and ended the call. Blocked the number after that.
