Got a message saying someone accessed my bank account, which is total rubbish because my bank doesn’t even have my mobile number. Definitely a scam. Don’t respond to it!

This was a total scam, I’d never get involved with something like this, it seems dodgy and probably against the law. Got random scam texts out of nowhere, had to reply with ‘stop’ just to avoid any charges. Turns out loads of other Three customers got caught up in the same thing! I tried to report it to Three but they were no help and just brushed it off. I’ve since left Three because of it.

I've been through something similar. 3 claims I gave permission, but I definitely didn't. It's clearly a spam scam. They told me to email customercare[###]@oxygen8[###] to get the charges removed. Honestly, I don’t know if that'll actually help or if I’ll just get more annoying stuff to pay for. By the way, 3 as a company was absolutely rubbish at sorting this out and didn't support me at all. I reckon I’ll be switching to a different provider once my contract finishes.

I wisely chose to ignore all of that, yet somehow, I still ended up being charged £4.50 on my phone bill for nothing! It seems this dubious outfit also operates under the email [email protected] and have listed another contact number as 0208 0899319. Watch out, everyone!

I didn’t click or reply to any of it but somehow ended up being charged £4.50 on my Three bill! It’s a total scam. They seem connected to the email [email protected][###] and there’s also the number 0208 0899319 involved. They mention something called levelverify and say they’ll try to get Three to refund me. Absolute thieves!

Received a text telling me to enter a pin code xxxx on a website. Didn’t bother with it and just blocked the number. Later, I looked at my Three account and found a £4.50 charge I didn’t expect. I’ve now put a limit on my spending and am calling Three customer service to sort it out and hopefully get the money back. On April 1st, I got a text from 07378903141 saying something about a PIN, 2111, and telling me to enter it on a website if I’d requested it. Obviously, I hadn’t, so I just ignored it like I do with any weird messages. Later, I saw two separate £4.50 charges on my bill for MMS sent from 66299 - one on the same day and another on May 1. I had no idea what they were for or why I was being billed. I only spotted the charges when checking over my phone bill because I’m no longer on contract. Definitely not something I authorised or am responsible for.

Best thing to do is contact your phone provider right away. I use Three, and honestly, all I did was just send the message over to 7726 and then replied to the number I wanted to report. It was pretty simple!
